It was an international weekend high tea buffet worth RM75 RM33 for each person (kids dine in for free)! The choices range from appetisers to main courses ranging from salads, soups and various meats! Also not forgetting dessert, too!
There were choices of really authentic Malaysian dishes such as Nasi Lemak, Roti Canai, Satay, Char Koey Teow, Sup Daging Berempah (this is the best dish IMHO)! Meat section were Ayam Masak Merah, Black Pepper Steak, Sotong Kunyit.
For those who are on a clean-eating-program, there is a mini salad bar with chicken breast and turkey strips. For dessert, there are choices of chocolate fondue(!!!!!!!!), ais kacang, scones, buns, caramel pudding, cheese cakes and ice cream! Not forgetting Malaysia delicacies such as Seri Muka (my faveeee)!
I personally think this place has a nice, clean outlook and perfect for families (as I observe many families having a meal together during my visit). The crowd was just nice, not too packed on a calm Sunday - super chilled and relaxing!
As for the quality of food (yes I know you are dying to know whether this deal is worth it!), I can say that it meets the hotel's standards (Empire is a four-star designer boutique hotel) and not too expensive for the price of RM33 per person! From my experience, a simple meal for two at McD's can cost almost RM50.
