I got this lipstick as a part of the Estee Lauder beauty defining Kit that I ordered from Amazon, around 2 months back. I've used it quite a lot of times now, even on my "special occasion". I must say it is a perfect party-wear lipstick, with luster and shine that doesn't look OTT at all. It also lasts a lot longer throughout my drinking or eating or laughing or even dancing! So, here goes my review of this lipstick. The shade I got was - Rubellite.

My experience with the lipstick:
I really feel this lipstick to be a complete package in itself. It has the moisturizing capabilities of a lip balm, creamy texture of a lipstick, shine of a lip gloss and long-lasting stay without drying my lips. All you may need with this lipstick to work better is a lip liner, and of course healthy smooth lips! Below are the swatches and how it looks on my lips:
Pros and Cons of Estee Lauder Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick in Shade Rubellite
1) The lipstick is quite moisturizing and creamy to apply. It glides well on my lips and gives a beautiful color to them.
2) This is bit lustrous lipstick, which is perfect for night time and parties. I don't need any gloss over this lipstick because it gives the shine that is more than enough for me to carry. The best thing about this lipstick is that, the shine and coverage doesn't look frosty at all.
3) As the name suggests it does sport a good staying power. I have experienced a staying power of around 3-4 hours from this lipstick, that too when I'd been eating, drinking, gossiping and laughing all the time, so I definitely agree to their long lasting claim.
Cons:
1) Though the lipstick itself is quite moisturizing, yet it has a tendency to get settled in fine lines if I apply it on chapped lips. So, one needs to exfoliate her lips well and smoothen them with some nice balm before applying this.
2) This is not a con, but I'd like to mention that I can't use this lipstick for daily wear. It has shine and luster, which you definitely don't want to flaunt at office, workplace or college.
3) Price can be a concern, as Estee Lauder is a luxury brand!
Overall verdict: It is a perfect lipstick for night long dance parties where you need long staying lipsticks that have luster and glamour in them and you don't want to do touch ups every hour. This can be a great lipstick for on the go touch ups at parties once in a while, especially when you are partying hard and don't want to spend too much time on applying lipsticks and lipglosses. Just apply, shine and enjoy!! :)
