Zareen Khan (born on 14 May 1987) also known as Zarine Khan is an Indian actress and model who mainly mainly works in the Hindi film industry, though has also appeared in Tamil and Punjab language films.
She made her screen debut with a leading role in the 2010 Anil Sharma's peroid film VEER co-starting with Salman Khan for her which she was nominated for the Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut. khan garnered recognition from item number 'Character Dheela" in Ready, which was one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of 2011.
Zareen earned commercial sucess in Bollywood with Sajid Khan's HOUSEFULL 2 and Vishal Pandya's HATE STORY 3. The following year, She made her Tamil debute in Tamil film NAANA RAJAVAGA POGIREN, in which she did an item song 'MALGOVE' . She achieved further success for her leading role in 2014 romantic thriller JATT JAMES BOND, a box-office sucess
Zareen khan wanted to be a doctor but joined acting her acting career began while visiting the set of YUVRAJ at Subhash Ghai's film school Whistling Woods. Salman Khan noticed her and decide to caste her for his friend AnilSharma's film VEER because, she said , "she look the charecter - the sweet princess she is playing in veer" . After a screen test, khan was giving the lead role of princess Yashodhara.
Zareen gained 8 kilograms in order to be more convincing as a 19th-century princess. The film revolves around 1825 pindari movement of Rajasthan. when india was riled by the british, her performance received mix reviewing from both critics and public.
Taran Adarsh of Bollywood Hungama observed that 'zareen resembles Katrina Kaif, but where one expression all though' Nikhat Kazmi of TIMES OF INDIA concluded that "Zareen Khan is unimpressive' .Zareen is average'. critic Shubash . Jha called her adorable screen presence'. Khan nominated for Zee Cine Award For Best Female Debut.
