Description
PowerShell is a tool that helps you do things.
There are three parts to PowerShell: a command-line shell, a scripting language, and an environmental management tool. PowerShell can run on Windows, Linux, and macOS, as well.
PowerShell is a command-line shell and scripting language made by Microsoft that is very powerful. It has changed the job of a Sys Admin. Would PowerShell be the only tool in my toolbox that I could use to be better at being a sysadmin?
I’ve helped a lot of people learn the basics of PowerShell. Join me for a short class that will make a big difference in your job. When class is over at the end of the day, we will learn about Microsoft PowerShell.
The history of PowerShell
When Jeffrey Snover of Microsoft realized that Windows didn’t have a good command-line interface and scripting abilities like its competitor, Linux, he came up with a way to make Windows more like its competitor. To change this, Snover released the Monad Manifesto, which is a document that lays out his plans for what would become PowerShell.
2006 saw the first use of the word “Powershell,” when PowerShell 1.0 was released. From then on, the PowerShell team at Microsoft has used the manifesto as a guide to add new features to PowerShell all the time, and they always do.
Before Windows XP and Windows Server 2012, PowerShell was not part of the Windows Management Framework and had to be installed on its own, but now it is. PowerShell was not installed on all Windows operating systems before Windows 7 and Windows Server 2012 R2. This changed with the release of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2012.
Please don’t wait for someone else to tell you to learn this Skill.
Grab this chance to learn a new skill to stay up to date with the times and technology.
I’m sure that when you finish this course, you will be very good at automating things with PowerShell Scripting.
Conclusion
One of the best things about PowerShell is that it can be used by anyone who works with computers to help them run smoothly. Everybody should have it because it has basic commands, community modules, and the ability to write your own scripts to do things.
